Help a former Anziano from the Greatest Mission in the World…
and bring a taste of Italy into your home for Easter
Many of you will remember Alessandro Vicedomini who served in the Italy Rome Mission in 1995 and 1996. Travis Bole and I have known Alessandro since we arrived in Rome together in early 1995. As new missionaries we were so excited to have a native elder join our district – especially one who had already started training to become true Panettiere (I mean who didn’t fall in love with bread during the mission). Since the mission, we’ve been able to keep in touch and watch Alessandro continue expanding his skills and build his expertise as a master baker (and master instructor in the pizza world). Alessandro’s wife Sara specializes in cakes while Alessandro is known for his artistic breads. While they’ve enjoyed many successes, the current business environment in Italy post-pandemic (and in light of the conflict in Ukraine significantly impacting grain prices in Europe) has kept them on their toes and looking for ways to expand beyond their local market.
Alessandro recently shared with us his desire to share his creations with those who have lived in Italy and rubbed shoulders with him. It would be his greatest pleasure to give those of us in the United States the opportunity to taste and enjoy his creations. In his own words:
Sono contento di farvi assaggiare i miei prodotti. Il mio sogno è sempre stato venire a fare il pane e le pizze in America ma non ci sono riuscito per tanti motivi. Potervi mandare il pane e il resto mi fa sognare di vivere lì ma soprattutto sono contento che posso fare assaggiare ai mie amici i prodotti di That’s Amore
So, for this Easter, we are teaming up to provide an opportunity for former Anziani and Sorelle to support our friend during a difficult moment and bring a taste of Italy into your homes. Alessandro is prepared to bake as many Colombe for Pasqua as we can distribute. The details are below, but please realize that we are providing this as a service to hurry with these orders for Easter.
Two options:
We will do a bulk order to Trevor Clifton’s home in Utah.
We can have one (or multiple) shipped directly to your house (shipping calculated later)
100% of the proceeds will go directly to Alessandro Vicedomini and his family.
